It just wouldn't be right....

Dear Lord it has been eleven days since my last post...... Wow how time flies when you have several Christmas parties, bbqs, and just general shannanigans around this festive season. It just wouldnt be right if I didnt do the obligatory Christmas post. Yes, I have queued , bustled and waited for car parks with the best of them. I have cooked, roasted and baked - not to mention the cleaning. I have wrapped , written and posted. It is a nuts time of year.

Especially when your daughter picks her christmas trinkets with her father.

I feel exactly the same way I did last year at christmas so although I am sure there will be alot of you reading this will disagree with me ( horses for courses ).

Merry Christmas!!

My kids get spoilt rotten on Christmas day as well, it is always huge.
I hope you have a great break and I look forward to catching up with your blog again in 2008 (maybe in person if that Aunty Cookie drags you around to her gigs again!!!)

Loved the back-track to last years post! Amen to all that. I really felt the over consumerist guilt this year & thought I was keeping myself in check. By Boxing Day the house looked as if a toy-shop had exploded & the kids were so plugged in to Nintendo & Wii, I totally despaired. How DO you get it right? That's rhetorical of course.
Happy New Year, Emma
